Girls Against consists of 3 original founders and an incredible team of regional representatives from around the UK.
Girls Against was set up after one of our team experienced sexual assault at a gig in Glasgow, September 2015. Members of the band shared the story and many others then began to share their experiences, forcing us to acknowledge how widespread the problem is - hence leaving us compelled to do something about it. We all found that confiding in a stranger gave us the courage to speak more openly about our experiences, so we created Girls Against to give other victims a safe space to speak out and aid their recovery.
Our team work on an entirely volunteer basis and put their heart and soul into ensuring the smooth running nature of campaign work.
